The big bonus with this product is it is open clasped, meaning you do not heed to have full circumference access to the item to which you are mounting the Flymount original mount.
The Flymount original protects your camera from coming loose during vibration or shock: perfect for use on windsurf rigs, roll bars, mountain bikes, boats, quads and much more. Any camera with a standard tripod mounting point can be used with the Flymount original mount, including lightweight DSLRs (static operations only for DSLR’s). This is the third generation or revision of the original Flymount since 2006. Engineered from premium grade Nylon-66 and 316 marine grade stainless steel, the mount also comes as standard with safety leash and standard tripod type mounting plate.

ADAPTOR FOR USE WITH GOPRO CAMERA
If you would like to use your GoPro camera on this original Flymount mount, you will need a GoPro adaptor.
The Type 1 adaptor allows easy on/off connection of your camera from the Flymount. (We use this adaptor ourselves for everything and it’s great.)
The Type 2 adaptor is a stronger fitting (bolted) to ensure your GoPro camera housing stays on the flymount during high impact potential activities.
