The body of air entrapped within a sit on top kayaks hull makes it almost impossible to sink. The holes that these kayaks often have in the seating area are designed to let water out. But when you want to prevent water from coming in to the cockpit of your kayak through these scupper holes, or to stop small items from falling through these scupper holes, a scupper stopper is required.
