This Starboard Race SUP is a cheap way to get some flat water cruising performance, or even to try your hand at some SUP races.

It falls into the 12'6" class of race board, and it's 27.5" of width offers stability but also a good turn of speed.

The board is in very good condition, with no damage to report, and only minor paint chips and some dirt...a couple of hours with a clean cloth and some sand paper, will bring it up to sparkle!

Ideal for experienced riders, however intermediate riders will also enjoy the challenge of this board.  It's super fun to take on down wind runs due to the extra volume in the nose.

This Starboard Race SUP is 12'6" x 27.5", with a very generous 258 litres of volume.  All round flat water fun, and great also for downwind runs.

This Starboard Race SUP was one of Starboards first offerings into the more focused downwind SUP board market.  The larger nose served to help keep the nose from burying into the water when running downwind on swells.  The increased volume means the board is very stable underfoot, even though it is only 27.5" wide.

This is a flat water SUP board, but equally we've had these out in some swells and smaller breaking waves and they were (hilarious) super fun.

If you are a keen SUP athlete, this may be a good one to have in your quiver of boards.  A good training board perhaps.  On flat water it does have a good turn of speed.  Best suited to downwind race as opposed to cross wind racing.

It’s not at all difficult to ride by an 85kg SUP rider on flat water, even on rougher water it is predictable.  Heavier riders will enjoy this board also for all-round use.

This board is light in weight, especially considering it is not a cull carbon model.  This construction is a great allrounder for robustness versus performance.

It has deck tie down points for carrying some luggage.  Note the drain holes also to drain any water from the deck.

Condition of this board is very, very good.  It has some usage marks, but nothing that can't be removed with some 1000 grit sand paper and a garden hose.  There is a couple paint chips, but not many at all.  All the fittings like straps, fin, and even a decent coiled leash are all very good.

This board was supplied new by Bigsurf to its 2 previous owners, so we can confirm its history as being genuine.  It was well looked after.

As this board is rare and long, you will need to collect it from our warehouse.  We may be able to organise delivery at cost to your location on the Bigsurf van.  Please ask us.
