This Matunas Base Coat Wax is an organic surf wax originating from the Matunas 25 acre farm in Santa Cruz, California. The wax making tradition has been going strong there since 1998.
Matunas surf wax is not a soy wax…all ingredients are grown on Matunas’ own farm, and everything is 100% natural. Fragrances are from real strawberries, raspberries, and jasmine flowers! They smell great!
Base coat wax is ideal when waxing up a freshly cleaned or brand new board, it allows other wax coat to adhere more effectively.
