USED MauiSails Carbon 190-240cm Slalom Boom
This is a USED MauiSails Carbon 190-240cm Slalom Boom. Complete with adjustable outhaul, uphaul and adjustable harness lines as pictured.
These carbon booms were the best carbon boom on the market at one point in time. Realistically they are still an excellent boom offering excellent strength to weight, very comfortable to use on the hands, the clamp is excellent, and the tail is easy to adjust and simple to setup.
In good condition throughout. The grip has the usual usage marks but all are normal to be expected. There is some grip lifted at points which have been glued back down successfully…grip lifting is normal and this one is quite good. Clamp, boom arms, tail section pulleys and adjustable outhaul all are in good condition. One of the tail adjuster clips has cracked and needs to be replaced. This can be ordered from MauiSails online (~€50). It is not failed, so the boom is useable as it is, but best to replace both.
Boom has been well cared for and was in use until it was dropped to Bigsurf. Previous owner is very well known to us. And this boom was also supplied originally from Bigsurf, so we know it’s history…it’s a good one!
Highly recommended if you need a boom in this size. And this is bargain! The adjustable outhaul, uphaul and harness lines are worth €100+ alone!
