Radz RDM Mast Adaptor – Windsurfing Mast Protector
This Radz RDM Mast Adaptor lets you use your standard boom diameter clamp on an RDM mast.
They also help protect your mast against premature wear and damage from your boom, as they spread the load across a wider section of your mast.
Space between the top and bottom lip on the adaptor is 110mm, so it will fit clamps of 110mm height , or less. We have often cut one of the lips off to use higher clamps.

This Radz RDM Mast Adaptor is simple to fit to your mast before you apply your boom. This lets you use normal boom clamps on RDM masts.
In addition to allowing you use an SDM boom clamp on an RDM mast, it also protects your mast, gives a better anchor point for your boom to clamp on to your mast, and it spreads the force exerted by the clamp of your boom onto the mast. This all minimises wear and tear on the boom area of your mast, so less time and money is needed to be spent on repairs, and in turn more quality time spent on the water with your equipment!
Be careful to not over tighten your boom to avoid crushing of your mast!
