This is our demonstration RRD Firemove 155 LTE windsurfing board.

This board can also be used as a windfoil board.

For a beginner, this board is ideal as your first board as it is stable, floaty, easy to keep upwind, and easy to learn to plane with. It gives you the confidence to push your ability, while having fun.

As you progress to intermediate level, this board offers fast planing speeds, and is a good platform to learn planing gybes on. It’ll take big sails too, so as you learn to plane in lighter winds this is a great board to give you float to take the bigger rigs, and to let you perfect pumping skills in lighter winds.

And when you’re looking to add the next level of fun, this board is foil ready! Which means the fin box is built strong to take the forces involved with foiling. Just bolt in a windsurfing foil and enjoy your flight time!

This RRD Firemove 155 LTE is the number one choice of board for fast progressing beginners who are looking for their first board. We have many customers who love this shape, in this size, and in this construction. It has let them progress their windsurfing extremely quickly, and key to this is they are having fun. For intermediate riders this board planes up really early, it is comfortable when you have your feet in the footstraps, and it has a very respectable top speed. Crank it into a gybe and the more you commit to the turn, the faster you will come out the other side. It’s a great board to carry bigger rigs…up to 9.0m sails is entirely possible.

When it comes to foiling, the 155 litres of volume and the width give you a super stable platform to balance on when stopped. Hard landings are inevitable when learning to foil, but this shape really makes that experience more bearable. And when you become experienced with foiling, the extra width will let you push against your foils lift to drive you upwind. We can supply the ideal foil for this board...please feel free to ask us.

Board comes with an MFC freeride fin, and a set of comfy RRD (made by Dakine) footstraps as pictured. If you can collect from Bigsurf we will install these in the optimum position for you.
