We’d recommend this board for a foil rider with some to a lot of foiling experience. It is incredibly lightweight for its size, and it is a wide model at 91cm. A good race foil and a good rider with foiling experience will extract all the performance from this boards light weight design.

This RRD H-Fire Pro 91 is typical of what the pro PWA RRD riders are using. We were super lucky to get our hands on this board. Well to be honest, we were ‘over the moon’ to get our hands on this board. It is one of just 10 shaped especially for the RRD pro riders, to race on the PWA foil world tour.
This was the precise shape as used by top foil riders on the RRD team like Antoine Albeau and Arnon Dagan. It is a dedicated foil or foil racing board, but once you have some experience with foiling, any confident rider can learn and tap into it’s thrilling performance.
And the performance from this board is simply amazing. It is incredibly light for it’s size. Our 82kg team rider assures us that in 4 knots of wind, with decent technique, a 9.2m race rig, and a carbon foil, it flies and keep flying! And it makes tracking upwind and downwind easy! We’ve used this board with sail sizes ranging from 5.3m up to 10.0m, and it has been fantastic.
Early planing, and then early foil flight, is easily achieved due to it’s width.
If the wind drops it is stable and floaty.
For upwind tracking the extra width is excellent to utilise the power from the foil to drive upwind.
Through gybes it provides lots of comfort in the standing area, as in the event of touchdown it allows you to regain control quickly and allows you to lift up on the foil again easily.
It is an incredibly light weight board for its size, making it faster and easier to control when flying.
This board has been used and is now offered at a greatly discounted price. This is an almost €4000(!) board, for less than half the original price! Condition is almost excellent…one slight pressure mark around the shoulder to report, otherwise it’s excellent.
