This USED Starboard iSonic 101 Wood is a high-performance slalom windsurfing board designed for speed, control, and efficient racing performance.
This one is built with Starboard’s lightweight wood construction, which offers a balance of durability, stiffness, and responsiveness while maintaining a lightweight feel on the water. The wood was often preferred to carbon versions especially in the smaller sizes as had more feel and comfort.
The 101L volume makes it a versatile choice for intermediate to advanced windsurfers looking for a fast freerace/slalom setup. Recommended sail sizes of 5.5m up to 7.5m, best for good intermediate level to expert level riders. What is not obvious in the photos is this board is very easy to use. Easy = fast!
Condition of this board is good considering it’s age. Structurally the board is perfectly strong and watertight. There are some repairs made that are ok, but may need touch up in the future. The board can be used as it is now, but there is some normal usage rail damage that ideally needs sealing (two afternoons with some epoxy, some sanding work and then a paint will give peace of mind.
Highly recommended. This is a 35knot board straight out of the box! To get something as fast new, you’re looking at €2000+!!
