This USED Tabou 3S CED 86L Windsurf Board is a very enjoyable mid to high wind freeride board, suited best to intermediate to expert level riders.
Best suited to sails in the 4.0m - 5.5m sail range.
Tabou had this sales pitch on them when released: One board that finds itself in all three styles of windsurfing: freeride, wave and freestyle. The compact design makes it both fast and maneuverable. Very easy and early to plane.
This board is the 2017 model year board. CED refers to the construction of the board.
This board is in very good overall condition. It has had a professional nose repair, which has been completed to a very high standard and is holding up perfectly.
There are some minor paint cracks around the nose, which are typical following a nose repair and are cosmetic only — there is nothing to be concerned about.
There is also one small ding repair on the deck, which has been filled with resin and is holding up well. We don't expect this to require any further attention.
As you would expect from a used board, there are some normal signs of use, including minor marks and rubs.
Overall, this is a very well-kept board in very good condition. The nose repair is the main reason we haven't rated it as perfect, but the repair itself has been professionally carried out and is performing exactly as it should.
